About Lunch Club

Lunch Club is a signature event series in the NTH SYD event calendar launched in 2019, taking place once a quarter in the heart of NTH SYD. However, after delivering four successful events, Lunch Club was put on hold when the pandemic hit in 2020.

After two years of waiting, we are excited to announce that Lunch Club is back – we will be starting off with one event every six months and our first returning event is scheduled on Friday 14 October 2022 (rescheduled from 7 October due to heavy rain) to celebrate Spring and World Smile Day!

Lunch Club aims to create a space for our CBD workforce to come together and experience a lively and entertaining seasonal event while providing a platform for local businesses to offer promotions and/or showcase their products and services.

Lunch Club takes over Brett Whiteley Place – the whole space is transformed with festive decorations, live music, entertainment, roving performers and activities to suit the theme of each event. Previous themes include a winter wonderland, vintage circus, Christmas celebration and a summer garden party.

At each event our community is invited to take some time out from their work and enjoy a leisurely lunch break filled with fun and entertainment. Lunch Club is free to attend and what’s more – attendees will get access to discounts and special offers from local businesses. This might be a discount on menu items from local food retailers, a freebie such as a coffee, an exclusive discount voucher or free access to a service.

If you are a local business who would like to be involved in future Lunch Club events, please find more details about opportunities at the bottom of this page.
