This month, we’re igniting the spirit of queer pride by showcasing the work of talented queer artists. The heart of North Sydney will be transformed as their artistry breathes life into every corner of this beloved lunch spot.

Be captivated by the work of Wiradjuri and Birpai artist, Wayde Clarke. His piece Prideful Community, 2024 © Wayde Clarke /Copyright Agency, 2024 will drape over the steps of Brett Whiteley Place throughout the Mardi Gras month (artwork above).

Our fabulous drag queen Miss Penny, and their exciting guest, will dazzle the Brett Whiteley audience with energetic pop-up performances every 15 minutes. Stick around for lip sync battles and trivia which includes a golden ticket prize (announced at 1pm)!

For a unique keepsake, visit our illustrator table where the talented Jeff McCann (pictured below) will create a quick, interpretive doodle of you. Customize your portrait with Mardi Gras stickers and have it printed on site.

To top it off, treat yourself with an ice-cold surprise courtesy of NTH SYD!
