A magical moon garden comes to North Sydney to celebrate the Winter Solstice from Monday 19 June to Sunday 2 July.
To mark the Winter Solstice, NTH SYD has partnered with the creative team at Fleur & Co to transform Brett Whiteley Place into a moon garden.
Inspired by the shortest day of the year, our Solstice installation will see 11 trees in Brett Whiteley Place decorated with twinkling fairy lights and moon pendants. The installation will be in place from Monday 19 June to Sunday 2 July.
What is the Winter Solstice? It’s the day of the year that has the least daylight, usually occurring between 21 and 23 June. The Winter Solstice also brings us the longest night of the year, so hello extra sleep!
For more Winter Solstice fun, on Wednesday 21 June we’ll have free live music at lunchtime in Brett Whiteley Place. Listen to rock classic hits by the Glenn Esmond Duo as you eat your lunch.
